Globalization is inevitable, very few, if any countries have everything they will ever need within their borders. Some counrties lack metal, or oil and it is thanks to globilization that counrties are able to access these resources. It also provides us with the knowledge of what is occuring in other countries. A quintessential example of this is the AIC. Without globalizaion we would have no method of obtaining information regarding the AIC.
Many people confuse globilization with corruption. Nowhere in the definition of globalization does is state that globalization includes sweatshops, and manipulating other countries for their resources. Globalization can be a good thing. It is greed that is causing the corruption. The leaders of these large companies can never have enough money. They are putting up the sweatshops. Globalization is just connecting the world.
Furthermore, Globalization allows struggling countires to recieve aid. One might argue that the governments of these ailing countries recieve the majority of the donations. At least some money is being sent. Without globalization, there would be no assisstance of any kind to struggling countries.
Globalization also lifts the veil placed to block the world from the actions of corrupt counries. With the world wide web, people can instantly upload illegal government activity, and it will be accssible to the rest of the world. Fewer peoople will die in vein, as globalization unites us.
In conclusion, I do not stand for everything that Globalization has done thus far, however it is inevitable. We can only improve it, unless we want to live in our own seperate bubbles.
